Former U.S. Representative Ed Pastor

The Midtown Neighborhood Association is saddened to hear of the passing of former U.S. Representative Ed Pastor. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family, friends, and all those on whom he had an indelible impact.

As a U.S. Representative for 23 years, he made METRO light rail possible in Midtown and our region by bringing federal funding for this project and its extensions to Phoenix. He was a champion for the things we enjoy as Midtown residents. His legacy of public service is commemorated throughout our city, and we are grateful for all he has accomplished.
