Join us for our quarterly Midtown Neighborhood Clean-Up, bringing neighbors, volunteers, and local partners together to keep our community vibrant, welcoming, and beautiful.

👥 Volunteers Needed: 20–25 per event
Great for individuals, families, and groups! All supplies will be provided.
📍 Location: Midtown Neighborhood
Cleanup coverage area: 3rd Avenue to 3rd Street, between McDowell and Thomas. Exact meetup location provided after registration. Register here.
Help us build a cleaner, stronger Midtown—together—in honor and continuation of the tradition started by Midtown Neighborhood Association community champion Margaret Dietrich.
Please plan to wear closed-toe shoes as well as sunscreen! We will meet promptly at 9:00 a.m. Instructions, gloves, and garbage bags will be provided after check-in. Downtown Voices Coalition, Midtown Neighborhood Association, and Phoenix Downtown Neighborhood Alliance are co-hosting a mayoral debate focusing on Central City issues.
The Super Main Event is September 8th at the Child Help Children’s Center. People can expect a parade of Superheroes down the front steps (there were 40 last year) to the theme of Superman. There will be live bands, kids’ games, The Batmobile, Police and Fire Specialty Vehicles, ice cream, burgers and dogs on the grill, face painting, cape designing, free comic books, service dogs in costume, and many other events. Dress up as your favorite superhero. Admission is free. Bring donations of new, in the box Superhero Action figures and superhero T-shirts for all age groups. Fun for the entire family!
